Class A or class B galvanised steel 6×7+AM, 6×19+AT, 6×19+AM and 6x36WS+IWRC wire ropes with diameters from 8 to 22 mm are used to build rock fall barriers.

Galvanized steel wire rope with 6 strands, each one with 7 wires, 6, 7 and 8 mm diameters with only a metal core are usually used to construct rock fall barriers. Resistance class 1770 N/mm2. Class A or B certified galvanizing in compliance with the UNI EN 10264-2:2004 standard.

6x19-AM

6x19 + FC/SC

Galvanized steel rope, consisting of 6 strands each one with 19 wires, with fiber or steel core. 10, 12 and 22 mm diameters with only a steel core are usually used to build rock fall barriers. Resistance class 1770 N/mm2. Class A or B certified galvanizing in compliance with the UNI EN 10264-2:2004 standard.
